Overcast and cool at the beach this morning, but that didn't stop these little birds from chasing the waves trying to find their next sand crab or whatever it is they eat. I think these are SandPipers. They cram their entire beak into the sand to find a morsel, over and over and over again.....I wonder how they sift out the sand? hee hee
Great shot. I wonder what they're actually looking for and how do they know just what spot to stick their heads in?
