I absolutely cannot believe we are almost thru the month of November!!! Where has the time gone?
Life was pretty much back to the regular grind within just a couple days after returning from our amazing vacation!!  Oh how I wish I were back in Indo!!

But I can't complain, really........

I am loving everything about fall:
Pomegranates galore!!!,

Juice oranges!!!

OH YUMMMMMMYYYYY!!!!!!

Fuyu Persimmons

I have wanted a Fuyu Persimmon Tree for a couple years now.  We dug out the broken pech tree and planted this baby...now she just needs some TLC
It's just a whip of a tree now, especially since all the leaves have fallen off.  It will take a couple years before we see any fruit.....Lucky for me, I have a friend from work who has a great tree and he shares!!!!     Thanks Gary!!!!!  :-)

One of our projects for this year was to replace our roof.   It's all finished and one more thing is crossed off the list!!!!  YEA!!!!

The Before.....

And the After......

I haven't had much exciting stuff going on, so not much to share.

I think we are going to just lay low for Thanksgiving, I'm still trying to decide if I want to cook a turkey.....I LOVE having the extra turkey, but I only have the 1 day off and I'm just not sure I want to spend the day cooking.......  Guess I better decide pretty quick.

Ok, a question for all you Mac users....... I am seriously considering getting a Mac soon, and I know everyone who has one, loves it.....   Can you tell me why you like yours soo, much???  What are the main reasons you chose your Mac?   Can I do everything on a Mac that I can do on my PC?   Any advise or help is appreciated!!!!!   thanks!!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!      I'll be thinking of you all!!!!!

  1. HI Sis , one of the main reasons people get Mac computers is that they DON'T CRASH ! they have more stable operating systems . they use Linux based operating systems which are a lot more secure just because of how they compute commands differently then windows based units.. it's what big corporations use mostly. they were almost impervious to viruses for a long time but that is not the case anymore. you need a antivirus for them now to be safe. have a happy and blessed thanksgiving . ♥ Shawn

  2. I love my Mac!! We love our Macs! Main reasons;
-yup, it doesn't crash, I've had my laptop for about 6 years now and have had absolutely NO issues with it.
    -it's so simple to use.
-you don't need all those extra antivirus programs, I've never heard of any viruses that affect Apple operating systems and have never had an issue.
Trust me, once you go Mac you never go back ;) It's worth the extra penny in the long run b/c you're not having to spend all that extra money getting it fixed, for antivirus programs or to replace it b/c it's crashed, etc etc. Hope this helps :) x
