Lo de Marcos #2

The sun came out this morning for about 30 minutes.  We headed to the Marketplace in La Penita early and had breakfast.  This marketplace covers several blocks and they sell anything and everything you can think of.  I bought a couple summery tops that will come in very handy IF the sun decides to come out.  :-)

The rain decided to start up again so we headed out, back to the park and played a few games of backgammon while listening to the rain......
The sun came out around 1:30 and a gal I had met yesterday was looking for someone to go swimming with, so we headed out and enjoyed the wonderful water.  Then the surf picked up a tiny bit out on the point,  2' sets every 10-15 minutes or so.   After being a little bit cooped up for a day and a half (sure seems like it was longer than that) I was READY to get out there.   I caught and stood up on 3 waves, I was soo excited.  First day out, but then again these were pretty small waves, very smooth.
When I came back in my foot was a little sore, thought I must have a small cut from the rocky reef.  Well, evidently I must have stepped on a sea urchin, I had a tiny piece of the tip of it's spine in my foot.......UGH!!   Uncle Dean said it had to come out now!!!!.....I am such a baby when it comes to pain.....I tried to get it out myself and just couldn't do it.......he got it out in no time and with a little liquid bandage I am ready to go again tomorrow.   Surf should be a little  bigger and better tomorrow.
The RV park next door had a fund raiser tonight to help raise $ for the local school.  There is a group of people in this park that are really good musicians so they played next door and they were great.   There was a vendor with street tacos and then all the people from the park made desserts.  It was a fun evening.

The internet connection here is not very strong, can't seem to get pictures to load.  I will share pics when I can, or might just have to wait til I get home and I'll put them on my web album.
