Busy, busy, busy

Again, I can't believe how fast the time flies..... We have gotten soo much done, but still soo much on the "list"....

The RV area was sinking due to the weight of the RV, so we had to fix it......First the level was figured, then had to have the gravel scrapped off

Then fill was brought in and packed down

then the gravel put back down on top......

Now it is pretty again and level!!!!

2 days later the RV Shelter arrived!!!!!

2 Pallets!!!!   1300 lbs!!!

And construction begins!!!!!
I had to go to work, so could only help after work and on days off......
(I think that might have been a good thing....hee hee)

3 days later the shelter is up!!!!

Yes, we did know how BIG it was going to be!!!!!  Have to protect the RV from the elements!!!

Getting the cover on was a HUGE job.....we had to beg the neighbors for help!!!

We are owing BIG time!!!!!   :-)

They want one now for their RV, so looks like we will be helping assemble another one!!!

While we were waiting for the shelter to arrive, we bought the wood for the fence that will go across the front of the shelter - you can see the black posts in the picture.   The fence will match the fence that is on the other side of the house......

So..... painting has started.......

The blinds that we ordered a few weeks ago arrived day before yesterday.

The weather has been cool and cloudy - had rain last night and looks like more possible today so not sure if any painting will get done........

One thing I have figured out is that with a small house, everything needs to have a place and with even a few things out of their place, it starts to look like a bomb went off.    I have started going thru stuff and sorting for Goodwill or Garage sale.   I am thinking I will have my first Garage Sale in 2 weeks, on my long weekend.    Not sure how much I can have ready, but I have to start getting rid of stuff in the garage!!!!

I also have gone thru my filling cabinet and about half of the papers need to be shredded.....This time I think I will find a place that shreds a box at a time, instead of me shredding it page at a time!!!!

We are going nuts right now with all the projects, but that is partly because they need to be done and partly because the water is still too cold to go surfing.....   The temps are climbing slowly though and soon we will be hitting the waves......YEA!!!!
