Doesn't it always seem that you wait forever for something to happen and then all the sudden everything happens at once??? I will be heading to SLO for a little break/vacation at the end of this next week. The day I leave is when escrow should close so that gives me the "all clear" to move. I already sent in my money to the property management company so they can hold the house waiting for the "thumbs up" from me from SLO. I will have to wait til I get back to move. This is all in hopes that nothing goes wrong and holds everything up. It seems I have been waiting soo long for this all to come together and wham, it all hits at once..... This is a good thing though.....I am not complaining at all, just funny that it all happens when I have vacation scheduled and paid for......
Today was an awesome day. Went surfing this morning and the water was soo clear I could see the bottom and all the little fish swimming around. The waves were small and gentle and easy to catch. It was alot of fun and just soo nice to be out and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Then I went to our union picnic for the afternoon. They have tons of food and it's always nice to sit and visit with co-workers where we can actually visit without getting "the look" from the boss for talking........
Tomorrow is Columbus Day, so another day off....YIPEE!!!! I am hoping to get some packing done and maybe go shopping for some furniture.....there should be some "deals" out there for the holiday, right??? Think I can get a couch for almost free!!?? hee hee (OH, I got a set of wine glasses for $3.56 with my other coupons and Kohl's Cash!!!) Too funny!!!
