BEGOVICH, MARK J.
1957 to 2011
Mark Begovich of San Marcos passed away on February 28th, at the age of 53. He was raised in Poway and graduated from Poway High School in 1975. Mark was best known as the friendly postal carrier from Escondido. He had a very infectious smile, and made a great deal of friends throughout the city. He worked for the Postal Service for 22 years. Mark had some of his greatest adventures while fishing for largemouth bass on the local lakes. He was also an avid guitar player. Mark is survived by his parents Matt and Lois, sisters Sharon, Sue, and Maria, and his son Dustin. A celebration of life will be held at Felicita Park in Escondido, on March 20th, at 11:00 a.m.
