I finally have had some time to get things settled and I have set up a shipping area for my e-Bay stuff. My plan is to take one box from the garage and sell all of it before I grab another one. Hopefully this will keep me focused on getting rid of all this stuff!!!!
I took a folding table and set it up in the spare room, got all my boxes and various shipping supplies together and started in. I grabbed one of SEVERAL boxes in the garage and emptied it on the table.
Got a fresh battery in the camera and an empty SD card and went to town taking pictures. I took almost 200 pictures and filtered that down to just about 100. Now to get these items packed up and do a little research on prices and I should be ready to list some items for sale.....YEA!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!
Today was drizzly all day so it was a perfect day for getting stuff done inside.
I know myself well enough to know that all work and no play make for a grumpy Shelly, so I made a compromise and I set up a sewing area in the dining room.
I ran across these blocks in a box in the garage. The colors are soo bright and fun. I am going to treat myself to a little bit of sewing time everyday, as long as I also spend the majority of my free time getting things on e-Bay.
Here is one of the quilt tops in progress....SOO CUTE!!!
This is just 2 rows that I had sewn together quite awhile ago. This is such an easy pattern and all the bug fabrics are just too fun!!!!
Is this not one of the cutest fabrics you have ever seen???? I am just soo drawn to kids fabrics!!!! This will make a great border!!!!
OK, enough playing for 1 day!!!!
Tomorrow is my next Schlerotherapy injection!!!! I can't believe how fast each month goes by.......I hope this next one is less painful.......
Usually only painful for the actual injections and then just bruisey sore for a few weeks after. The first injection site is still sore, been 2 months, but the Dr. said the larger the veins are, the longer it takes to completey heal....they were very large veins....... I'm hoping tomorrow he will inject the really bad veins on the back on my right leg.....I just want to get those over with.
Gotta get back to my e-Bay........
hope you have a great weekend!!!!!
Wow, Shelly....looks like you are getting back into the swing of things, LB-wise. I finally gave up my contract in August - 18 years was enough for me. Of course, now I'm selling Thirty-One bags. Hard to say no to really cute totes and utility bags! I love that dragonfly fabric...if you've got a FQ left over when you're done, I'd love to buy it from you...it would make a darling project bag for a friend who adores dragonflies...she lives in Corona near Mer. Have a lovely holiday season...Hugs from southwest Missouri!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when you going to get back to doing some quilting.....I'll bet it feels pretty good! I should hire you to help me get rid of stuff.....
ReplyDeleteHey Sally, I might have some better dragonfly fabric, I'll try to locate it....BTW, Mer moved to AZ.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!!!!
Liz, It is an idea at this point, but I figure if it is sitting in front of me, it will inspire me and hopefully I will sit down and DO something with it......Oh no, I'm not for hire.....I have enough of my own stuff to get rid of!!!! hee hee Been trying to get rid of it for a couple years now....pretty much took the last year off, so gotta get back to it. Looking for an update to your blog..... :-)
Hey Shell-----glad you're quilting again. I'm hoping to get back into it BIG TIME now that our move is almost over and I have my TWO studios set up. Now the goal is retirement SOON. Stay in touch and Happy Early Birthday!!!!
