Paradise

I'm back from a wonderful but way too short trip to absolute Paradise.   The weather was soo nice, about 80º and the water about 78-79º.   There were not many waves this year, so the surfing was minimal, but the trip was short and there were lots of people to visit, so it all worked out perfect.
This was the beautiful sunset that welcomed me when I arrived from the airport..... Ahhhhhh

Saying Goodbye to a dear friend...
Mario was the caretaker of the RV Park for many, many years.  He was a Great friend and a great man.  We all miss him soo much!!!!
Rest in Peace Mario.

This area is known for all the wonderful birds. I can hear them in the trees, but usually can't see them.
I caught this one on the ground, but as soon as he saw me he was GONE!!!

The wonderful warm weather makes everything grow soo big.  Look at the size of this Hibiscus - just growing on the side of the road.
Next to my big size 10 foot!!!!  We had seen it the day before when it was really bright in color, but I didn't have my camera with me.....
I think these flowers only last a day or 2.

I just love the colors in this hotel.....

Some beautiful water lilies

A beautiful little girl - Laura  (pronounced lay-ord-a)
On her way home from school.
Laura is the neice of Eulo - our friend that makes surfboards.

Mel and Laura - BFF's    :-)

A cool painted wall at the entrance of the school or the church......

A Very cool quilt.....
Pictures were painted by the school kids and one of the Canadian quilters put it all together.   It is being raffled to raise money for the school.
I bought 20 tickets......(keeping my fingers crossed)  :-)

My treasures from the beach....
I love to beachcomb

Seagull convention.....
How to while away part of the day???  A few of us sat on the beach and watched as that log out beyond the birds slowly floated towards shore and the waves washed it onto the beach.....then we decided we better get on with the day.....
Oh, the life..... hee hee

I will never tire of this view......
looking north....

looking south....

A beautiful picture my aunt painted for us....
Can't wait for Mel to bring it home so we can hang it in the house.

My last sunset meal at the Palapa restaurant.
Beautiful!!!

Our friends from Pretty Sunset RV Park.
Len and Karen, where are you???!!!!
 I miss you ALL!!!!

A little stroll down the beach Monday morning before I had to head to the airport.....
I miss this little paradise!!!!

We made a couple stops on the way to the airport and look what I found!!!
