I thought Southern California was supposed to be warm!!!

I bought a scrapper for my windshield the other day....what's that all about??!!

Yes, I know we are whiners!!!!  Unless it is 75º and sunny we are not happy campers!!!!
We have had the coldest January in a decade, or so that's what the newsguy says.  One day it was 34º for the low and 74º for the high....all is one day!!!!  
We are warming up for the week, supposed to be 75º tomorrow - Ahhhhh!!!

Getting ready to head south for a little R&R, but I thought I better get the back yard cleaned up a bit.  We have had alot of wind so there were leaves everywhere!!!!

This actually isn't supposed to be a picture of trash cans, it was to show how many leaves there are.....  :-)

I raked, and raked and raked some more.

Scott came over the other day to get a visual of the yard to start in on the backyard landscape plans and he suggested I trim the Fig tree.  It produces WAY more figs than we can eat and it was getting wider and wider, so I took his advice and trimmed 2 of the bottom branches off.  This will keep it taller and narrower. 

We'll see how it does.....yes, I still need to cut that lower branch off... I wasn't sure with the cold weather if there was a chance of hurting the tree.

So a full day working in the yard.... it felt great to be outside in the sunshine.
