We are back home after a great little get-away, and slowly getting back into the groove.....
I had my first session back in the water!!!!! It was not graceful, but I did manage to get a few waves!! It can only get better from here, right? :-)
Our neighbor was spreading a pile of great looking mulch. When I asked him where he got it, he said the city tree trimmers were in the area, and they got a load from them. We need mulch really bad in the back, but we have so many things going on right now, it is not good timing. Well, when I came home from therapy a few days ago, this was waiting in the driveway........
You can barely see my car.......and this pile is wide.....Mel thinks it is about 12 yards!!!!
We needed it and it was FREE, so you just take a breath, re-prioritize your to-do list and jump in......
It is all moved to the back, but still in little piles......
Getting these spread out will be my project for this week.
I planted some radish and carrot seeds in one of the new beds, the radishes popped up pretty quick.
I had planned on making a trip to the nursery for more seeds or plants, but the mulch has required my attention for now.
I started back to work today, but just for a couple hours. All went fairly well, we'll see how the rest of the week goes.
