Surf camp - part 2

The boat trip to Eckas was fun, but coming back was crazy!!!!!  The wind picked up and the swells were big, or at least they felt BIG as we fell down one side of the wave and water splashed over the front of the boat as we hit the next swell.  I was ok as long as I could see what was coming, but we had to move back a bit on the boat and when I could no longer see the waves, I started to get sea sick........once we were out of the bay, they put up one of the sails which made the boat lift a bit and ride more on top of the swell, so it calmed a bit, but I had to just look straight ahead and try to breath the fresh air........it took forever to get back.    

Here are some of the guys on the front of the boat and we have just fallen off of one wave and lifted up on the next one.....  I think the Indo guys love it!!!!!    Sakir has the huge smile, PeeWee looks a bit nervous.....   Kimmy has the tattoo's and he didn't stay up there very long!!!!  I was so glad once we hit our bay and calm water.

After our radical boat ride we went to dinner at a nice restaurant in town.  I felt like I was rocking on the boat ALL night!!!!

Monday night was party night and the theme was "anything from the sea"

If you were here you would totally understand.....these bamboo frames are floating all over the bay and the seaweed grows on strings that hang down in the water.....

This is 2 girls that were at the camp last session, but they are still staying in the village.

Anya is trash.  (She said "white trash") 😄 and the other girl is a sea snake...

They hang out in the yoga berruga and play math games, and other games that help them learn computers, English and math.

We have a yoga class in just a little bit, so I will close for now.
