We had another boat trip, this trip was to TanJung Aan Bay, which is gorgeous!!!!! The waves were small, soft and slow, but fun!!!!!! This reef was very shallow and very sharp, but with the waves small, we didn't have to worry too much........always fall flat!!!!!😳
Looking towards the beach...
Sally and Olie
Antony-one of my coaches
There are several of these formations along the coast.
Back in our bay........Gerupuk
The yellow floating docks are shrimp farms.......
Unfortunately there are about 10 times as many in the bay as last year........they don't realize they are going to eliminate all the shrimp at this rate!!!!!!
Today is our last day to surf, we leave tomorrow morning........the time went so fast!!!!
Every camp session they have party night. We were fortunate (actually unfortunate) enough to be here for 2 party nights!!!!!😜 tonight's theme is Halloween. I didn't dress up tonight.
Simon was a vampire...
Amiel and Richard and were bananas...
Amiel brought the costumes.....
I think this is Jenn the camp manager....
So party night went as all party nights do......not much sleep in camp..... We had someone in the room above us spill beer and it ran thru the floor boards and all over our bed and our stuff!!!!! Not fun!!!!! 😡
The next morning was good-byes all around.
This is Mus (moose) Mel's coach.....great guy!!!!!
Here is Helima, she does all the cleaning around camp.
One last look at the bay....
As much as we like it here, I think this is our last trip to Indonesia....
On to Bali....we stayed at Flower Bud Bungalows again this year!!
Our bungalow for the next 3 days...
We were welcomed with fresh fruit and juice......YUM!!!!
Looking towards the restaurant and pool...
View from the restaurant....
The road to the beach.....
Sunset...
Shopping for my batik fabric........this is our driver......Cela
Too much excitement for him.....😀
We can't believe the changes here in Bali in the past year......it is getting busier and busier!!!!! Like everywhere I guess. There is so much new construction and soo many large hotels being built!!!! I am glad we are here now, I can't imagine what it will be like in 5 more years.....
We love sitting in the warungs
and watching the surfers.....
Our time here has come to an end, we are heading home tomorrow. In a way I am ready to go home, but I also will miss this little paradise!!!!
