Busy Baking Day

What a busy weekend.... I haven't had time to do my usual holiday baking so I got together with a girlfriend today and we had a blast!!!    Turned on classic holiday musicals for background and we went crazy.....
First off was her moms recipe for Cinnamon Rolls.... yummy!!!!!   notice the center bite out of that bottom one.... hee hee

Then it was on to thumbprint cookies with raspberry jam and stained glass cookies with strawberry jam.

What a mess we were making out of her kitchen.  I don't think there was a clean spot on the entire counter.......

We also made P-nut butter cookies and then a special recipe that we called "Celebration" cookies, which basically consisted of everything we had left over: pecans, cranberries, choc. chips, etc. all put into a basic sugar cookie dough.  Then we drizzled them with choc.  They are very good.

I think it took longer to clean up our mess than it took to make all these cookies.  :-)

When I got home I had to get presents wrapped and ready to go in the mail.  I sure hope they get delivered in time.... only 4 more shopping days!!!
