My little corner of the world: Mexico.........Adios for now

I just cannot believe my time is up here in Mexico......there is soo much still to see and do..... I could stay here for a few more months and still not see and do it all. I brought down a half read book and still have not finished it...... I brought a couple sewing projects and barely touched one of them........

I have never taken a month off before and I realize it is not even a possibility for most people. I feel very lucky to have been able to have this time and I could not have enjoyed myself more anywhere else......the people I have met and gotten to know are WONDERFUL....locals and semi-locals... :-)

The weather here has been cooler than normal, but that seems to be how is has been everywhere. I am heading home tomorrow to high temps in the low 60's and the lows in the low 40's.....and that is warm compared to soo many places....

The surfing has been slow, again, not the norm, but for me it was wonderful. I know I have improved and I'm hoping to get back in the water at home soon so I can keep learning.

I haven't taken many pictures this past week, because it was a pretty laid back week. We had to travel to find waves 3 days, and then 2 days were spent being lazy on the beach. I got sunset pictures and a few others, but I didn't have my camera with me as much....

The wales are heading back north, so almost every evening you could spot them playing. Saw a couple babies also. Had to use the binoculars to see them well, so out of rannge of my camera....bummer!!!

Oh, here are a couple pics of the surfboard that was being made. It turned out GORGEOUS!!!!

The bottom is a double concave with egg shaped rails and has 4 channels which I am told will make this board FAST!!!! Too much for me, but it really is a pretty board.
