Mulch anyone???

About 2 months ago I called several tree services to see if I could get some of their ground up trees and such after they finish a job.   I never heard from anyone so figured "Oh Well".    Well, yesterday at work I get a call and the guy wants to know if I am still interested in some bark mulch.   I said yes and I asked him how much he had to drop off.   He said about 2 1/2 yards.   Perfect!!!  I asked him to drop it on the driveway.
Well, when I got home, this is the pile I saw!!!
2 1/2 yards my butt!!!!   We figure it is  more like 6 yards.    We shoveled and hauled and moved and raked and shoveled some more, until it got dark and there is still a ton to move........
It will be wonderful in the back yard, around all the plants and to help suppress some of the weeds!!!!

The bad part is that we still have a lot of work to get it all moved and I am going in for VNUS Closure surgery today....... I am not looking forward to this procedure, but I need to get it taken care of.   This procedure is for vericose veins and mine have gotten soo bad and have become very painful at times.    They go in and close off the Saphenous vein.  (which is no longer working correctly - which is why the blood pools in the other veins causing them to bulge)

Anyway, I am supposed to be back to work the next day, but I scheduled this for my 3 day weekend so I could have a few days to make sure I am ready to go back to work.

Guess part of my 3 days getting ready will be helping to get the rest of this mulch moved!!!!

No sign of Mr. Gopher by the way........   :-)

OK, Enough stalling, I better head out........keep your fingers crossed for me, ok

  1. Keeping fingers crossed that everything goes ok. I finally found a nice young EMt who moonlights doing yard work. The front is looking fabulous -- now he's on to the back yard. I'll soon have a pile of bark mulch to rival yours.......
