The elusive.......

Here is Little Becca!!!!!

Little Becca is the more green plant and Baby Bliss is the blueish plant.   Both of these are Dianella's or a variety of Flax Lily.
We have put many miles on the cars looking for this plant!!!!   YEA, we finally found them.
Spent today positioning everything where it will go and got the rest of the Robellini Palms planted.  Hoepfully this week the rest of these will get planted!!!!
Once all these plants are in, I won't have to even think about the front yard for about 2 years!!!!  YEA!!!!   Everything will be on a drip system and it will be controlled by this baby.....
It is programmed to know the history of our local weather conditions.  It will know if it is raining (it will turn itself off) and how fast the moisture is evaporating (in case it needs to turn itself on). I think it pretty much knows everything.....way more than I will ever understand.....so I will only have to check every once in awhile to make sure the emitters are dripping water when they are supposed to.......This will make my life soo much easier!!!!  :-)
Next summers project is the back yard and all of it will eventually be hooked up to this water brain!!!!!

This little fellow decided to visit while we were planting.

He stayed on this palm shoot for a couple hours....didn't even move when we walked by or worked right under him.....
I wonder if they eat Palms?????

My next door neighbor has chickens and they have decided that our yard is more tasty then theirs...... hee hee

A couple of the younger hens (I call them the twins) have figured out how to get over the fence and they scratch around in all the mulch looking for bugs, grubs or whatever it is they eat.  I don't mind them at all, it is kinda cool to have them running around.   I do have to put all the mulch back where it belongs after we get them back in their own yard........that in itself is hilarious.....have you ever tried to catch a chicken?????

We decided it was time to try a couple avocados from the tree.  These are Fuerte Avocados.
We'll give them a couple days to ripen and then we can pick more.  The tree has alot of fruit on it this year.   Amazing what a little bit of water will do......
The Pomegranates should be ripening soon.   I can't wait!!!!

The weekend is over, so back to the grind.....hope you had a good one!!!!
