Bali

A couple bumpy plane rides and we arrive in Denpasar, Bali.   It is dark and the city is bright with lights and crazy busy with people.  We booked a bungalow at Flower Bud Bungalows in Balangan Beach.  The taxi ride was about an hour.  We knew we wanted to be away from all the city life.  Once we turned off the highway, it was quite a ride down, down, down the hill, away from everything.   There are a few bungalow resorts around and it is about a 5 minute walk to the beach.

This is our little home for the next 5 days.....

There are about 12 bungalows, some 2 story, family sized.

I fell in love with this place as soon as we entered the grounds!!!!!

Mel rented a surfboard and went out for a couple hours.  The waves were overhead for the most part and more of a beach break.   I lounged in the sun and relaxed!!!

We went down to one of the beach restaurants for dinner and to enjoy the sunset.
