Happy New Year!!!!

Started out the day, or should I say the year RIGHT!!!!   The surf report looked to be pretty good, so headed out...check out this line of pelicans cruising by.  They like to fly inches above the waves.    The waves were breaking right on shore, the guy surfing was nuts, this water was only a couple feet deep where he was.......

Got home and made breakfast cookies to re-load the freezer and then decided to make a big pot of Pasta Fagioli......yummmmm

I was wondering around the front yard watering and noticed the Bergenia blooming.

A couple of the Alstromeria are also starting to bloom.   These are one of my favorites...

I still have Plumeria blooming also.   I had to gather them all together under the patio cover to protect them from too much rain and from the cold weather.  They still have lots of leaves and flower buds galore......
