Gorgeous Sunset!!!

Another hot and humid day today. Decided to get some relief at the beach after work. All of the smoke from the fires in LA have given us some spectacular sunsets. Here is tonights!!!! Also a pic of yours truly waiting for a wave. I know, I know, it looks like a lake out there, but the sets were coming in from time to time. I think we were out there for an hour and a half and I actually did get 3 waves tonight.

We have hurricane Jimena moving up the coast of Baja, so wondering a bit about where she will be on Monday. The Labor Day Oceanside Pier Swim is a rough water swim that I do every year. The conditions right now are perfect, but I have seen them change from good to bad in a couple hours..... We'll have to wait and see what the storm brings.....

Oh, just a side note..... found out a lady got bit by a white shark last week just north of where these pics were taken......and that is only a couple miles from the Pier!!!
